One Bowl Brownies

This brownie recipe comes from a Nana in our church. It is an easy recipe that can be made at the last minute and tastes yum with or without icing.

1 cup margarine
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
1 cup flour (I use sorghum blend*) 
1/2 tsp. xanthan gum
1/2 cup cocoa
chocolate chips/nuts (optional)

Put everything in a mixing bowl and mix till light in colour. Pour (spoon) into a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with c.chips and nuts. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 or once brownie starts coming away from pan

*sorghum blend (1.5cups sorghum flour, 1.5 cups potato starch flour, 1 cup tapioca flour - whisk together and store in airtight container)
